Engineering Lead — Data, Infrastructure & Product Architecture
Location: In Person in Tel Aviv, Israel
We are building decision intelligence for enterprise revenue: systems that reconstruct messy operational history, simulate decisions before they are made, and recommend the best allocation of limited resources.
Your role is to turn the decision engine into a secure, reliable, auditable enterprise product. You will own the architecture for ingestion, reconstructed event logs, simulation infrastructure, versioning, run history, cloud, APIs, and scalability.
What you'll work on
- Building data ingestion and reconstruction infrastructure
- Designing canonical event-log architecture
- Turning messy client data into structured, validated, model-ready systems
- Building simulation-run infrastructure: run IDs, versions, logs, parameters, outputs, and reproducibility
- Making research and modeling workflows durable, auditable, and production-ready
- Designing backend systems and APIs around the decision engine
- Creating the foundations for security, data isolation, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise reliability
- Building systems that are observable, recoverable, and safe to operate
- Working closely with the modeling/research side to turn fragile prototypes into real infrastructure
- Eventually helping hire and lead the technical team
About you
- You have built backend, data, platform, or infrastructure systems before
- You know how to turn fragile prototypes into durable production systems
- You care about reliability, versioning, observability, security, and auditability
- You can design systems that will later support multiple enterprise customers
- You have strong technical judgment: when to build, when to buy, when to simplify, and when to cut a wrong design decision
- You can work closely with scientific/modeling profiles without letting the product become a messy notebook stack
- You are high-agency, direct, and able to ship under ambiguity
Relevant backgrounds include backend engineering, data/platform engineering, ML infrastructure, enterprise SaaS, analytics platforms, cloud infrastructure, or security-sensitive B2B systems.
Not required
You do not need to be an expert in revenue.
You do not need to be an operations research scientist.
The core requirement is the ability to build the technical architecture that makes complex data, modeling, and simulation systems reliable, secure, auditable, and usable by enterprise customers.
Role structure
This can be a founding employee, founding technical leader, or potential cofounder role depending on seniority, commitment, ownership level, and mutual fit.
